He is seen as one of the biggest talents in music right now. Album two is on its way so we figured it was time to look back on what he has achieved so far. Because there is so much more to come!
10. Wild @ VEVO Lift, 2015
One of the biggest hits of his first album Blue Neighbourhood is ‘Wild’. Before that, in 2015 it was released as a single from his fourth EP with the same name. A year later, the song was re-released featuring Alessia Cara. They joked about doing a song together but when she actually recorded her part, they both agreed that it was amazing.
9. Bite @ iHeartRadio Theater, 2016
When scrolling through the comments under this video, there’s one thing that keeps coming back: Troye’s dance moves. It’s these dance moves that are so typical for Troye. A little awkward, but it suits with his music!
8. Youth @ Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, 2016
Ooh, looks like bad weather is coming during this show! Although the ‘normal’ version of ‘Youth’ would have fitted perfectly in this setting, it’s easy to love this stripped down version.
7. Lost Boy @ House of Blues Texas, 2016
Sometimes it’s hard to focus on Sivan, hearing so many fans sing a long. But that’s really what you get when attending one of his concerts: dedicated fans who know every word to every song, no matter how old or new it is.
6. Easy @ Jisan Valley Rock Festival, 2016
As he says so in this video, it is his very first time playing a music festival. Also, it is his first time in Korea. So, many milestones for the young Australian singer. His fans keep on praising him for his growth and that’s exactly what you see when he performs ‘Easy’ in Korea.
5. Heaven @ Margaret Court Arena, 2016
‘Heaven’ is a song that means a lot to Troye and to his fans. In fact, he calls it the most important song he has ever written. It is about his struggle with coming out as gay. “When I first started to realise that I might be gay, I had to ask myself all these questions—these really really terrifying questions. Am I ever going to find someone? Am I ever going to be able to have a family? If there is a God, does that God hate? If there is a heaven, am I ever going to make it to heaven?” was what Troye said when he was asked about the song.
4. For Him @ New York, 2016
The audience at his New York show almost sounds like a choir making ‘For Him’ a stronger song than it already was. The quality of the video may not be too good, but the song is. That’s why it needed to be in this list!
3. There For You @ Coachella, 2017
Oh hello, Coachella! Sivan shows he’s capable to adjust to every situation during this performance with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix.
2. The Good Side @ DDICL, 2018
Donuts and Troye Sivan, what more can you wish for? An extremely sweet and good combination, if you ask us.
1. My My My @ The Ellen Show, 2018
Troye is back in 2018! It has been a while since we heard from him, but we feel like he’s back even stronger. There’s no sign of a second album yet, Sivan explained that he is still working on that. Despite that, we’re still hoping for it to be released this year!Autoplay
