Summer is over, but one of the most summery songs of this year can still be found in the charts around the world. We’re talking about Camila Cabello’s ‘Havana’, a song about her origins!
Camila was born in Cojímar, a district of Havana, in 1997. She lived back and forth between Havana and Mexico-City, and when Camila was 7 years old, she and her mom fled the country to live in America. In a long blog post, Camila explains what their journey was like.‘Havana’ is an ode to Camila’s youth in the city in Cuba. But it’s not only that, it’s also about her falling in love with an Havana bad boy, as she calls it herself. Fiction or not, we like the vibe of it!
Havana is, ofcourse, known for its rum, but the city has a lot more to offer. It’s Cuba’s capital and the biggest city in the country. Havana has a very old feeling, thanks to the architecture and big amounts of monuments. Perfect for a vacation!https://www.google.nl/maps/place/Havana,+Cubaemail@example.com,-82.4657096,11z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x88cd774cbdf600e1:0x4e294d7e1a770d60!8m2!3d23.1135925!4d-82.3665956Locations From Songs
