Known FromThe Best Songs From Bridget Jones's Baby

Earlier this year Bridget Jones's Baby was released. The film is the sequel to the two previous movies about the (difficult) life of Bridget Jones. Renée Zellweger is back to play the role of Bridget again. Millions of visitors already have seen the romantic comedy on the big screen and thus heard a great soundtrack as well. A lot of big hits were used in the movie and there even is a guest appearance from Ed Sheeran himself. Time to check out the soundtrack. These are the 10 best songs from Bridget Jones's Baby!

#10. Ace Wilder - Don't Worry

Swedish singer Ace Wilder released the single 'Don't Worry' as her participation to a Swedish Song Contest. She didn't win the competition, but the single was still very good. 'Don't Worry' was used in the official Bridget Jones's Baby trailer.

#9. Rihanna - Stay ft. Mikky Ekko

Hugh Grant didn't appear in this last Bridget Jones movie but they found a very worthy alternative. Grey's Anatomy actor Patrick Dempsey plays the role of Jack. He has to compete with the man who's always very important to Bridget: Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). During a bit of a unpleasant conversation between those two, you'll hear Rihanna's 'Stay'.

#8. Ed Sheeran - Sing

You will see Ed Sheeran singing and acting in the movie. Bridget Jones goes to Glastonbury and meets a red-haired guy backstage. She obviously has no idea who it is. If then that same guy is on stage, playing 'Sing' for a hysterical audience, Bridget screams: 'It's the guy from Starbucks!'.

#7. Years & Years - Meteorite

British band Years & Years went to the studio. Especially for this movie, they wrote the song 'Meteorite'. A typical Years & Years song, with a lot of energy.

#6. Lily Allen - Fuck You

'Fuck You' by Lily Allen is a classic Bridget Jones song. You can probably imagine a mad Bridget Jones taking an act of revenge with this song in the back. 'Fuck You' can't be missed in this list.

#5. Céline Dion - All By Myself

This one is indispensable as well in a Bridget Jones movie. By only the thought of Bridget Jones, this song might pop into your head. Kind of a sad song, but can't be missed as well.

#4. Ellie Goulding - Still Falling For You

Ellie Goulding made the title track for the Bridget Jones movie. 'Still Falling For You' appears at the end of the movie. It's a very sweet and feel-good song, but perfectly fits with the movie. Fun fact: swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo was one of the writers of this song.

#3. House of Pain - Jump Around

Imagine: a hysterical Bridget playbacking, singing, jumping, celebrating her birthday with wine - and all of this on 'Jump Around' by House of Pain. You get the picture, right?

#2. Tiggs Da Author - Run ft. Lady Leshurr

There are few songs that immediately cheer you up. 'Run' by Tiggs Da Author is one of those songs. It's impossible to sit still on a track named 'Run', so therefore you won't have to. This is one of our favorites on the Bridget Jones's Baby soundtrack.

#1. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud

Besides singing on Glastonbury, Ed Sheeran also has an acting appearance in the movie. Turns out he's a natural talent when it comes to acting. The song 'Thinking Out Loud' appears in a very intimate version: he plays it  at a campfire. Because of his acting and singing skills and because of the fact that this love song perfectly fits in Bridget Jones's Baby, this is the best song of the soundtrack.

What's your favorite song from Bridget Jones's Baby?

What about Marvin Gaye and The Temptations? There is more great music in the soundtrack. We've put them on our Spotify. Enjoy!
