A great movie with a magnificent cast. Besides actors like Jamie Foxx, Kevin Spacey and Ansel Elgort, there are also some famous artists like Shy Ferreira and Red Hot Chilli Peppers' base player Flea starring in this movie. The movie excells with it's simple plot about de getaway driver of a group of bankrobbers who wants to get his life back on track. Besides that, music is also essential in this movie, even more than in others. All car chase scenes are accompanied by music either from the 70's or that sounds like it's from the 70's. This is because Baby, the driver, is unable to focus without his music. We hear you wondering what the 10 best songs are from this movie. Well, we listed them below!

10. The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Bellbottoms

This list begins the same way the movie does. This full song is in the opening scene so we picked it for you. Baby is waiting in his car and he turns on a song just to sing along and go bananas. And what we mean by going bananas? Not to spoil anything but he is drumming on his steering wheel and singing in a water bottle. But then again, who didn't ever do that? ;)

9. Bob & Earl - Harlem Shuffle

This intro is legen- wait for it- dairy. The younger generation probably knows it best as the one from House of Pain's 'Jump Around' but it actually already exists since 1963. When Baby is wondering through the streets of Atlanta, everything around him happens at the rhythm of this song. Simply amazing.

8. Golden Earring - Radar Love

One of Golden Earring's most famous songs that has already been covered by U2, R.E.M., Bryan Adams and many others. It also features on a lot of other soundtracks like on The Blacklist, The Simpsons or Grant Theft Auto V and now also on Baby Driver. Fun fact: the song also featured on Bill Clinton's election campaign in 1992 and despite that, he still won.

7. Queen - Brighton Rock

Baby's killer track, the one with the killer guitar solo. The song is actually about a holiday love that is doomed to fail but you still want to try it. But we mostly remember that awesome guitar solo.

6. T.Rex - Debora

When Baby and Debora are having a conversation about songs with their names in it, this song comes along and is played. That turned out to be a big mistake because there were some problems with the royalties of this song and relatives of the artist decided to sue the movie studio.

5. Blur - Intermission

A great song from Blur that starts slowly but then slowly goes towards an ultimate climax. Even when you just hear it, you can already imagine all kinds of exciting things that could happen while the song is playing. You experience that feeling even more when you hear it in an action movie while the main character is waiting outside during a bank heist. Goosebumps!

4. Danger Mouse ft. Run The Jewels & Big Boi - Chase Me

One of only three songs that was written especially for this movie and if you only read the title you can already imagine why. The video also contains a lot of material from the movie although you can still watch it without any spoilers. The song is a bit different from the others on this soundtrack, it's a little more up to date. That's why we believe that is deserves it's place in this list.

3. Beck - Debra

This is one of Debora's favourite songs. She is the waitress with whom Baby falls in love and when the producers would think a little further, they would have named her Debra. From Beck's side, it's an ode to the music from back in the day and some special places and people from his childhood.

2. Sky Ferreira - Easy

The soundtrack of this movie just needs a place in this list. We have to admit that it isn't the best version of the song but it belongs with the movie and it has a videoclip that can also work as a trailer for this movie. The song was originally written by Lionel Richie for the American band Commodores but the younger generation will know the Faith No More version a little better.

1. Simon & Garfunkel - Baby Driver

This great song from 1970 just needs to earn the first place in this list. It's a song of a couple horny guys that used to be very polite and sweet but who want to express their views on sex. Maybe that's why it goes so well with the end of the movie, because Baby was looking forward to it so much. Or did the makers just put this song on the credits because it has the same name as the movie? Who will tell..
