If you still haven’t seen the film or heard any Black Panther songs by now, you’ve probably been living under a rock. The soundtrack album was completely created by Kendrick Lamar and features a variety of collaborations, but the film contains so many more great tunes. Here are ten songs from Marvel’s Black Panther. *This article contains spoilers!*

#10 Too $hort – In The Trunk

In the beginning of the film there are kids playing basketball outside. During this scene, the song is used in the background.

#9. Haddaway – What Is Love

When Klaue is about to be interrogated, he starts to sing this old banger from 1993. A good old blast from the past.

#8. Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Future, James Blake – King’s Dead

When Erik enters the throne room, the instrumental part can be heard in the background. The camera is flipped upside down while Erik takes the throne and becomes king of Wakanda. The song just really forms the scene because of all the tension that you can feel radiate off everyone.

#7. PSY ft. Snoop Dogg – Hangover

If you think PSY had only one great song, you’re mistaken. Gangnam Style may be his greatest hit, but he has so many more songs. This song is used when T’Challa, Nakia, and Okoye arrive by car in South Korea. We can’t stop listening to this hit!

#6. Babes Wodumo ft. Mampintsha – Wololo

We see the lab of T’Challa’s awesome sister Shuri for the first time while this song in playing in the background. It’s also the scene where the ‘’What Are Those’’ meme came out perfectly. In real life, the actress who plays Shuri, feels the pressure of putting on the coolest sneakers. Reason: she is always under attack of her fans thanks to her line in the film!

#5. Andy Mineo – Tug of War

While Klaue is being interrogated, his rescue team is on the way, and Erik pulls up the van near the wall. The song really captures the tense and exciting scene because you don’t want him to escape!

#4. Idrissa Soumaoro – Bèrèbèrè (feat. Ali Farka Touré)

The film begins with a basketball scene, and also ends with it. In the background, we hear Mozzy’s song Sleepwalkin and T’Challa says he is opening a Wakanda outreach centre.

#3. Mozzy – Sleepwalkin

The film beings with a basketball scene, and also ends with it. While the music is playing, T’Challa says he is opening a Wakanda outreach centre.

#2. Kendrick Lamar, SZA –  All the Stars

When seeing a Marvel film, you know you have to wait once, and maybe even twice, to see the post credit scene(s). They usually take a long time to reveal themselves, so why not use an incredible song like this one!

#1. The Weeknd ft Kendrick Lamar – Pray For Me

This song is played when T’Challa, Nakia, and Okoye enter the casino and is played throughout the whole casino scene, and prayers is what they needed for the fight scene that follows!

Wakanda forever!
